Camp Acknowledgement Of Risk

Welcome to The Peacock Brothers Progression Camp! 

 

We are excited to have you join us for what we hope will be an exhilarating experience. Before you begin your adventure with us, we want to ensure that you are aware of the inherent risks associated with the activity you're due to undertake.

1. Assumption of Risk: Cable wakeboarding is an exciting and challenging sport that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

​

• Slips, trips, and falls on wet surfaces and wakeboarding equipment.

• Collisions with obstacles, other wakeboarders, or equipment.

• Injuries resulting from the rapid movement and tension of the cable system.

• Changes in weather conditions and water conditions that may affect your safety.

• The potential for injury due to your own actions or the actions of others.

By participating in The Peacock Brothers - Cable Wakeboarding Camp, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks and agree to take full responsibility for your actions during the camp.
 

2. Release of Liability: In consideration of being allowed to participate in our camp activities, you hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless The Peacock Brothers, its owners, employees, instructors, agents, and any associated entities (collectively referred to as "The Peacock Brothers") from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur as a result of your participation in the camp. 

 

3. Insurance: You acknowledge the purchase of adequate insurance is your sole responsibility, and that The Peacock Brothers are not able to provide advice or guidance in relation to providers or policies. In the event of incident or injury, The Peacock Brothers will assist you in attaining the necessary documentation required to submit a claim, but will not be liable to provide any compensation directly.

 

4. Covenant Not to Sue: You agree that you will not initiate any legal action, lawsuit, or claim against The Peacock Brothers, regardless of whether such action is based on negligence, breach of contract, or any other legal theory, for any injury or harm that you may sustain during the camp.
 

5. Understanding the Policy: By purchasing tickets for The Peacock Brothers - Cable Wakeboarding Camp, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand this Acknowledgement of Risk Policy. You also affirm that you are aware of the potential risks involved and willingly accept them. 

 

6. Acknowledgment of Responsibility: Parents or legal guardians who are enrolling minors in our camp activities are required to sign this policy on behalf of the minor participant, acknowledging their understanding and acceptance of its terms.
