Camp Code Of Conduct

We started The Peacock Brothers camps because we wanted to help riders of all levels fast-track their wakeboarding progression within a small and supportive peer environment.

We’ve met so many awesome people on our travels to wake parks around the world, and knew bringing a load of them together would be a great way to have fun, make friends and be inspired to really push for those goals!

We know you’ll be joining us with your own personal ambitions and objectives, and we will do everything we can to help you achieve them. But we truly believe that having the extra energy and encouragement of others will make all the difference, so it’s important to us that the spirit of each and every one of our camps is community.

We mean it when we say it’s the people that make the camps so special, and our camp Code of Conduct is in place to make sure we never lose the group mentality that we’ve witnessed is so key to building the confidence needed to really, really send it!

We know you’re not back at school. We don’t want to control your camp stay or make it feel like you’re not on holiday. We just want to make sure we provide the best possible experience we can. To everyone. We know you'll respect that.

  • Our camps are inclusive, safe spaces. Discrimination, abuse, bullying or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • Wakeboarding is an extreme sport and that needs to be respected. Intentionally reckless or dangerous behaviour — be that on or off the water — is not acceptable under any circumstances. We won’t be warning you twice.

  • You’re on holiday so sure, have a drink or two. But when you ride under the influence of alcohol you're not only putting yourself at risk but all the other people on the water. If we sense you’re intoxicated, we’ll have no choice but to keep you off the cable.

  • We’re not the police, but the law still applies. The possession/use of illegal substances or unlawful activity of any kind will result in immediate ejection from the camp.

  • We’re camp hosts, but still park guests. And so it is ultimately on us to make sure our group sticks to park rules. We will not be responsible for bailing you out if they call you out.

  • We’re in this together. We totally get that wake camps are intense. We know a morning off, an afternoon out, having early — or just quiet, private — nights are often not just nice, they’re necessary. But for both you and the rest of the group to get the most out of the camp, we do need you to show up. We understand that you might benefit from a bit of time out, but if you’re consistently absent from group sessions we’ll have to discuss if a place on the camp is appropriate.

By joining us you acknowledge you have understood and agree to adhere to the above Code of Conduct.

Formalities over, let’s get ready to SEND IT!
